About Us

Juel is the creative partnership of Elsa Mcmahon and Tegan Arnold. From humble beginnings 14 years ago, the designers started with foundations in jewellery, combined with creative flair, inspiration and determination they formed a lifelong love affair with the art of jewellery making.

Elsa and Tegan created Juel after recognising a gap in the market place for unique, modern, handcrafted jewellery. Both designers travel extensively sourcing unique gemstones that become the centerpiece and inspiration behind the designs. Each piece is beautifully handcrafted with special attention given to the smallest of details, working tirelessly to ensure the highest level of workmanship is maintained throughout their collections.

Working in both Sterling Silver and Gold, each piece is individually handcrafted, with a large proportion of the collection being ‘one-of’ designs.

“We believe that beauty can be found in all forms of jewellery, whether it be the strong lines of an Art Deco inspired Onyx pendant or the intricate workings of a filigree chandelier earring. It is important to us to create jewellery pieces which reflect an amalgamation between art and wearable jewellery.”

Juel’s collections are updated seasonally and can be viewed in our beautiful boutique store, located in the heart of Balmain on Darling Street or at our online store.
